I know it’s a provocative title. It’s meant to be.
On Thursday, May 14th, I will publish my book:
Wake Up To Die Again: Breaking Who You Became So You Can Be Who You’re Meant To Be.
Today, I want to share why.
Every morning, the sun rises.
Some people wake up only to die a little more each day. Slowly disconnected from who they are, buried beneath routine, fear, disappointment, exhaustion, or the pressure to become someone the world told them they had to be.
Others wake up to die again.
Not in defeat. In surrender.
The opportunity to let go of what no longer belongs so something stronger, truer, and more alive can emerge.
It has taken me a lifetime to understand this:
The more of myself I sacrifice, the more of myself I find.

The world teaches addition.
You need more.
More success.
More approval.
More status.
More possessions.
More noise.
Yet so many people wake up every day with everything they thought they wanted… while quietly dying inside.
I believe there is another side to that story.
It was never about addition.
It was about subtraction.
What we release often becomes the very thing that sets us free.
I’ve learned that the things we survive don’t define us, what we do with them does. I’ve bled, fallen, failed, been betrayed, and risen more times than I can count. But I’ve stopped hiding the evidence.
My scars aren’t reminders of what broke me; they’re proof of what couldn’t. They are the handwriting of grace etched across skin and soul, a quiet testimony that what tried to kill me failed.
Failure isn’t the ending. It’s the beginning.

This book is for every man and woman trying to stand… still standing… still believing there is more to their story.
Don’t hide your scars.
They’re proof you were meant to live and live like never before.
If you’re ready, turn the page.
Let’s walk into the rest of the story together, beginning Thursday, May 14th. Available on Amazon and at ScottLackey.com.
